Recipient Mare

 
The focus is on quality recipient mare management, believing that it is a key element in the success of the program. The recipient mares are selected for temperament, size, age, and overall health as well as reproductive soundness.

When you come to flush your donor mare, you can rent one of our recipient mares for 1 season. When the recipient mare is 50 days pregnant you need to come and pick her up, than you have to pay a security and a rental fee. She stays at your place until you wean the embryo foal, at that moment you bring back the mare and you get your security back.

It’s possible to bring your own recipient mare. We can try to synchronise the cycle of your recipient and donor mare but we cannot guarantee that it always work. If it’s impossible to use your recipient mare for your donor mare and we can use your recipient mare for another donor mare; you don’t have to pay the rental fee and security.
