I started riding at the age of seven. When I was twelve I started riding Western with my first trainer Wim Buyst . I went to all-round shows with my first show horse Docs Damaris.
At the age of fourteen, me and my parents went to America where we got interested in Reining horses. We wanted to learn everything about them! We went to Kim and Bill Horn's place where I got the opportunity to ride with them. It was so amazing!!!! I was given the opportunity to ride so many really good horses and learned so much, that after 2 weeks I was allowed to ride Trashadeous. That was (still is) the coolest thing I have ever done with a reining horse. One of the horses I also rode was Little Gump. I fell in love with him the first day I met him. After 5 weeks we had to go home and I wanted Gump so bad that after a lot of bagging my parents bought him for me. We can say now, it's the best thing we could ever have done. He is the best-minded stud ever. And his babies are doing so well!

In 2000 I went to the Original Gold Clinic with Bill Horn, Scott McCutcheon, Craig Johnson and Dell Hendricks. I got to ride BH Backsplash; he is a USET Champion and a super horse to learn from. It was a wonderfull experience to ride together with these champions.
 
In 2002 I joined the Belgium team to the Youth World Cup in Amarillo, Texas. I also joined the Belgium CRIO Team in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
I had the opportunity to ride for two weeks at Dell Hendricks's place.
In 2003 I have been at Bill Horn's place for six weeks.
In 2004 I have been 3 months at Bill Horn's place.
